With the festive season around the corner, it's the perfect time to start planning your Christmas decor! We've got a gorgeous DIY pearl Christmas bauble to get you started, that we know will look just stunning on your tree. This is what you need to know:
What you will need:
-Polystyrene balls of differing sizes
-Pearl headed pins / gold tacks
-Braid, ribbon or lace
-Pearl beads / stick on crystals
Step One: Choose the size of your polystyrene balls
Step Two: Thread your pearls with pearl headed pins and stick into the polystyrene
If the hole in the pearl is too large, you can always use a see-through sequin on the pin before inserting it into the pearl
How amazing is this looking!
Here you can also use gold tacks in place of the pins for a heavier look
You can also use braid, fringing, ribbon or lace to cover the ball. Use craft glue and embellish with pearls or stick on crystals
Step Three: Use lace to wrap up the ball and tie a bow on the top. You can also make a pattern on the lace with stick on pearls and crystals for extra bling!
Create different looks using the same size pearls or switch between small, medium and large beads
Step Four: Put a large pearl bead on the top and bottom to finish it off
Step Five: Make a loop with ribbon and secure with a pin. Add a dab of glue for extra strength
Your beautiful creation is now ready to hang on your Christmas Tree!
